Out of all the furniture that I have put together in the past....this was by far the most complicated. I believe that there are 48 steps...and literally, you are putting together everything....nothing has been assembled in the box. I used wood glue on every particular joint which makes the piece feel a lot more sturdy.

As well, this is not a piece that I would keep beyond the diaper years of our daughter. Just not the most solid construction. And to that point, now looking how much work in assembly and final quality...it is maybe a petite more expensive than it should be.

But all of those things are secondary to the idea that i'm a petite nervous about, and this is a small warning, in regard to the sharp edges on it. Because it is particle board with veneers, the edges are very, very sharp colse to the changing area. My daughter will sometimes kick her legs when being changed and her heal or leg has hit the edge very hard. We have put small blankets all colse to the area where she lies. It would have been worth spending more to get a solid wood table that has smoother rounded edges.
